Hard Drive Clicking?

    Do you have any important data on the other drive to backup before formatting it? If not, then you should be able to format it and use it as a secondary drive. Make sure you have the jumper on it set to slave and the jumper on your new drive set to master (if necessary). :)

    It's a partitioned drive and I used one empty part that i installed the OS on temporary until my new drive came.
    Now it's here I'll format that partition.
    There Sata drives do they still have jumper settings as i have no jumper caps?

    Nothing to worry about with the jumpers if they are SATA. That is why I included the (if necessary) in my post.
