New laptop, partition size confusion! Advice please!

    Aha, this seems quite simple. Am I right in thinking...

    I go into my User folder and select "Properties" on each folder I wish to move to the D drive (ie. My Documents) and then simple "Move" to the D drive and copy contents from there. And then, when I click on My Docs from the Library sidebar, it'll still come up but from the D drive rather the C?

    So, I'm not really moving the Libraries per se, but rather the contents. Haven't got around to configuring D as the main download folder yet though...

Hi I have been doing web design for 10 years, but I have only just discovered that images can have an actual DPI burnt into them. Is this true? Until now I had simply worked in pixels and assumed that DPI (dots per inch) x inches was simply a rather clumsy way of calculating actual pixels....

Hello. I just recently did a fresh install from windows xp to windows 7 and I previously had a separate partition that I used for backing up stuff. After upgrading, I noticed that it doesn't show up under my computer but, it shows up under disk management. How can I regain access to that drive?...

Bootable partition confusion
in Installation & Setup

Windows says C:/ is the boot partition, but partition Wizard says D:/ is. D: is formatted, but "system volume" info remains. How can I get rid of that? :confused:
