Weird behavior when turning off the lights.

I have noticed this behavior ever since I'm using my old pc.

my old pc and new one is located at the same place.
    (As I just replaced it).

I've noticed this weird behavior when someone turns on the lights.
I'm having alarm sound that a device is unplugged, and when I turn off the light.
    the same alarm sounds.

    FYI.
the lamp is a flourescent lamp and it is beside the PC tower and the only thing that separates them is 2in. wooden wall. if you need a photo. I'll upload it for you.

is it the static discharge of the lamp that causes this?.

Reminds me of a very old Hitchcock movie named Gaslight with Charles Boyer and Ingrid Bergman.

Please relocate either the lamp or the PC at some distance from one another to test if the same odd behaviour continues. But weren't the old PC and the light located at the same place before you got the new one?

Actually. Even the ceiling lights cause this behavior. The old pc's location is the same with the new one. The lamp is mounted on the other side of the wooden wall. Then pc is placed on a metal mounting on the other side.

You should have a priest bless the house.

Tap your heels together, 3 times, and say there's not place like home.

Can't understand what is happening because I don't believe in poltergeists and ghosts. Since when has this strange behaviour started? There has to be a rational explanation if we dig deeper.
