    I have 8 GB Kingston HyperX Genesis KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX 1600MHz I plan to upgrade to 16GB after I buy my new Hard drive next month

    I use Crucial because the prices are right, and you can run their online scanner. Check it out.

    If you have dual memory, which you should have, always replace the Ram stcks in pairs of equal size. And keep them in one channel. Say you have two blue slots and two black slots. You buy two 4 GB sticks. Put them both in one color, or one channel. 2x4 GB=8 + 2x2GB=4, totals 12GB. Since I upgraded mine from 6 GB to 12 GB, it flies! LOL I'm thinking of going to the full 16 GB, next.

    I just bought the CPU the other day AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Six-Core Desktop Processor FD6100WMGUSBX OC'ed to 4.21GHz
    It's faster then the old one but this GREEN hard drive is SLOW
    I am upgrading next month to a new WD Black 1TH SATA 3 hard drive
