    Core temps

Hey guys now i got back home today and was surpised to see when i loged onto my pc that the temps were higher than they ever have been while on idle both core temp and hwmonitor report the same temps
Now the problem with this is that a few weeks ago i hapend to go into the bios and looked at my temps and it was around the same but when i loged on the temps were arouns 13-25 degrees
now this wouldent be a problem at all if it was just core temp as thats had a nice history of getting temps wrong but a few weeks ago hwmonitor war reporting the same temps as my core temp

So what im asking is have my temps always been from 25-39ish or is coretemp and hwmonitor broken? as untill today they were reporting 13-25/6 degrees tops

    thanks in advance -stormz

I found the problem last night i enabled core boost to try it out and i didnt retart my pc due to downloads so when i turned it off when i went out it was enabled when i came back
I have disabled it and its HALFED my temps ... i might add core boost didnt up my mhz let alone ghz ....
and it explains the instability today ...
if an admin could delete this post id apreciate it
