Maximum Temperature - Processor (AMD E-450 APU ~ 1.65GHz)
Anyone know the maximum temperature for my processor please? :)
Anyone know the maximum temperature for my processor please? :)
I have the same processor on my Laptop you can download core temp and it will show the Tj max on the chip But from reading a few reviews on it maxes out at about 72 c but of course you don't want it to get that far
I would get a cooling pad
Okay thanks, I got Core Temp which measures the temperature, and I've been using my netbook at 72c :O didn't seem to feel hot at all :s
I am considering purchasing a cooling mat (: and I've read a review whereby the max temp was 90c.
Most Cpu's will read TJmax 90 with core temp my 8 core cpu max is 61 c but reports 90 oops lol so i would off set it by 15 but to be in a safe zone do you happen to have the discrete graphics model HP or the Viao version ?
Okay thanks for your help!
I also have a question about my new HP dm1 w/ E-450. I just upgraded from an atom based netbook cuz i wanted a bit more speed but I'm finding this dm1 is slower! I ran CPU-Z and it says my processor is running around 830mhz give or take with a multiplier of 8. I have a E-450 processor which claims 1.65 ghz. The processor is almost always running at 100%. I streamed netflix and it could barely keep up, often lagging behind in fact, and the only other program i had running at the time was Skype. Everyone raves about the graphics capabilities of these AMD processors but I'm rather dissappointed so far. I'm new at this, know little about dual core or playing with processor speeds, but does this mean I'm only running on one core? I have no idea how to fix it, I just transferred all my stuff on this and don't want to send this to HP to get a new one, but if its broke I guess I have no choice. Any ideas how to open this puppy up? Would appreciate any help!
Solarstarshines, it seems we have the same processor, your speed seems to be double mine and running much cooler, any tips on how to achieve better performance on mine? Here's mine
