Hauppauge HD PVR Gaming Edition Not Reconized!

Im trying to install the drivers for the Hauppauge HD PVR Gaming Edition. When i try that with the disc it says device not connected. So it cant install the drivers either. I connected the HD PVR to my PC but it does not recognize it. Im using the original USB Cable that followed with the PVR. When i plug it in, the yellow bubble doesnt show up to tell me there are no drivers. It even doesnt recognize that i plugged it in. It says plug in the USB and power into your PVR and then USB into youre PC. And it says turn on the PVR. But i cant turn it on when i havent installed the drivers. When i am trying to turn it on the Blue Light just contiues Staying Blue and not flashing or changing color. So i need to install the drivers. But it tells me it cant install the drivers cause the PVR isnt plugged in. What to do then?

Ok. ive came that long that it recognized it and "tried" to install the drivers. so when it installs the drivers it says unknown device. then it tells me to restart. when i do that and reboot it says still unknow device. and when i try to install the drivers manually it says the optimal drivers are allready installed. when i try to delete the "optimal drivers" it deletes the drivers but when i plug it in again it installs it as unknown device again. then it tells me to reboot..... the same thing. it doesnt even let me choose the drivers to install! how to turn that off? so that i can install the drivers from the disc?
