A test tool for a SSD

Am still having difficulties with a slow boot and load so is there an app for testing SSD's specifically?

Have tried the HD Tune I think it was but it just gave me read / write rates and nothing that would suggest the controller or drive itself is out of whack

    - Crucial M4 128GB I guess I can try their site but do any of the folks who have done a lot of this sort of stuff please give me a tip or two?

I've come across this (the site is in German as the developer is German, but the program is in English).

Of course, the drive manufacturer may also have a suitable tool. You might find more information here:

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Dwarf will try those as I have been onto Crucial both for testing and advice but still cannot find my load / boot problem.

I have tried memtest, different RAM and I am going to slip the SSD into my laptop as I know the M4 in it is fine - if this one works ok then my mobo has got a problem perhaps with the NB or something.

Have spent five days now trying to track the problem down and it is getting very frustrating and a tad depressing.
