    SMART is enabled in BIOS though, unable to be changed. My guess is its a driver thing with Fedora based distro's. Since Fedora also hates my WIFI why shouldn't it hate my hard drive either? :)
    Your probably right about that. I just know that if it is disabled then some times you get errors related to it depending on what your doing.
