Is USB Legacy set to Enabled ?

The fourth page of the System Setup contains configuration options for port settings (Figure 4). The options that can be changed are:
  • Serial Port: can be set to COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, or Disabled.
  • Infrared Data Port: can be set to COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, or Disabled.
  • Parallel Mode: can be set to ECP, Normal, Bidirectional, or Disabled.
  • Click Volume: adjusts the decibel level of keyboard click sound, when enabled.
  • Keyboard Click: can be set to Enabled or Disabled.
  • Num Lock: can be set to Enabled or Disabled. This setting only works if an external keyboard is attached.
  • External Hot Key: allows for an external keyboard to emulate the Fn feature on the portable keyboard. Can be set to Scroll Lock or Not Installed.
  • USB Legacy: This enables support for attaching an external USB keyboard when using an older legacy OS that does not have USB support.(Not supported in Windows NT).
  • Pointing Device: can be set to Touch Pad-PS/2 Mouse, Serial Mouse or PS/2 Mouse. Serial mouse and PS/2 Mouse settings disable the onboard touchpad and pointing stick.
  • Primary Video: </SPAN>For systems docked to a C/Dock with a PCI video card, this setting allows the user to specify whether to display video output from the system video card or the PCI video card. Settings are: System or Dock Video Card.
  • Video Expansion: This setting replaces the <FN> + <F7> key functionality. Enabled will set the display to full screen expansion mode.

At this point, I would redo the install. When presented the opportunity, delete the partition and recreate it. Do you have the resources to burn a new DVD? If yes, make a new disc and burn it at the slowest speed possible.

Doc, I think we are looking at different manuals. The manual I downloaded for his service tag indicates no such option.

Current BIOS is 1.1.11

OK this is where things get complicated. At the time i downloaded the Image I had *COUGH* Legaly downloaded a Copy of MGS2 Substance for PC for recording purposes, I figured I'd already donated anough of my cash to Konami's new cash cow I wanted somthing back.
To use the Image of MGS2 I was trying to use an Image Emulator. Unfortunetly I had no idea how much fail Vista is, And that MGS2 didn't work with it. And Everything i usually try to do on my computer goes deadly wrong.
Then I gained word of a "Windows 7" on a usual Metal Gear fansite i Visit.
I figured as it's not a clean install and the Virtual Disk Drive was properly installed on the computer I Could use the Virtual Drive for the .ISO of Mindows 7. It appeared to go off without a hitch, perfectly, until i came to the Start up.
It appeared to work fine, The install didn't skip, It looked perfect.
This place is pretty much a last ditch effort, because I cannot risk reinstalling Vista...
