    MBR for Hard Drive

!!!!!Disclaimer!!!! Not a computer genius so don't judge

This is my problem I have a 2 TB Hard Drive, the original MBR was corrupted and deleted. I mistakingly recreated a FAT MBR which doesnt not allow me to access none of my files.

    I have tried the " Convert D: /fs:ntfs

It says that insuffecient disk space to recover lost files
windows found problems with the file system that could not be corrected

So this is my theory, I need to delete the FAT MBR and created a NTFS and hopefully I will be able to access my files.

I have been researching MBRs and I have not been able to find the process.

    Thanx

START > type: comp > You should see Computer Management on the top
Click Computer Management > then Disk Management

Once Disk Management has opened, then
Start > type: snip > You should see the Snipping Tool on the top

Click that and snip a picture of the Disk Management window.

I assume that is an attempt at conversion to NTFS??

Whatever it is, it shows disk errors that could not be fixed.

I'd run checkdisk, as it advises.
