hi i am using intel DH67BL motherboard and intel i5 yesterday i was cleanning my pc after tht when i turned on graphics didnt show i checked my graphic card HD 5670 its working fine on my other pc (same as this reg) so i plugged it to internal video slot and its working fine does tht mean is the pci express slot is dead ?? my system is just 5 months old.
I'm not sure I understand what you did.
That MB has one (blue) PCI Express 2.0 x 16 discrete graphics card connector, two (black) PCI Express 2.0 x 1 connectors, and one (white) PCI Conventional bus connector.
So I am confused by the statement: "so i plugged it to internal video slot and its working fine ". Maybe you could explain this better?
The MB specs say it has integrated graphics, which I assume is the graphics on the i5 processor. Have you tested that?
And, how did you clean the machine? That may give us some clues as to what could have happened.

Did you check in your bios and switch your primary graphics to the optional PCI Express GPU?
While you have the discrete card installed, install the Intel Driver.
If all is OK, afterwards, you can remove the discrete card.

OK, so we are back to the question: "is my PCI-e slot dead?"
Could you tell me how you cleaned your computer?
With compressed air?
A vacuum cleaner with a metal wand?
Disassembled everything and wiped it down with a towel?
You answers may shed light on what may have changed, assuming everything was working before you cleaned it.
Sounds like good news and bad news. Just remember to un-plug the system completely when you clean and keep all metal attachments away from the components and mobo. I like to use the crack and crevice tool and I just hold it near where I'm blowing with air if inside the house or using the brushes to sweep the dust loose. All you have to do is get the dust loose and the flow of air into the vacuum takes care of the rest. I rarely use moisture unless it's on a q-tip to clean fan blades. Then I allow the case to air dry open for at least 30 minutes before closing up and placing under my desk for re-connections. Glad it's being taken care of but it's a bummer that the slot went dead.
