    Blackberry Bold vs Iphone 3G

So I'm in a bit of a situation here. I need to choose between a Blackberry Bold and an Iphone 3G.

    Blackberry Bold - about 2 months old, mint condition - $1800TT ( thats about 282 US )

    Iphone 3G - 1 month old, mint condition - 2800TT ( that's about 437 US )

I know it normally comes down to what the consumer needs but.. I am so not sure.

Is the 1000$TTD ( 156 US ) worth some apps? And well.. a touch screen?

    Opinions please

Just wanted to say that I got the BB bold about 3 days ago. Exceptional phone. No complaints. I am happy with my decision.

The Blackberry will give you a longer battery life on a charge and has a user replaceable battery as well. The iPhones tend to go through the batteries fairly fast and need to be replaced by Apple usually within 2 years.

My wife has an Iphone 3GS and I've had blackberries from my job for the past 7 years or so. I'm currently on a blackberry storm, but I had a blackberry curve before that. Personally, I'm not that cracked up over the touch screen interfaces. I felt navigation was easier with the scroll wheel on my Curve. But hey, that's just my preference.

The iPhone has some silly limitations too...For example...my wife still cannot send pictures with text messages. I keep hearing that this functionality is coming to the iPhone...but it isn't there yet.
