    PS/2 mouse doesn't work

    Hi,
I have USB keyboard and I installed PS/2 mouse to my PC. Mouse doesn't work and when I check the control panel -> mouse for errors it says this:
"This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

USB Keyboard: Microsoft comfort curve 2000
    PS/2 Mouse: Logitech M-SPF90

Without any system specs its hard to say... Are you sure about the model of your mouse? I was unable to find it using google.

    Have you checked the BIOS?
You have to set PS2 mouse support in the BIOS, to make it work.

I checked the BIOS and there is no PS2 mouse support switch.

    I checked also the manual.
    ftp://europe.asrock.com/manual/A780FullHD.pdf

    No help.

I've read the manual and indeed you can't set it.
This means it is automatically on.

This can only lead to two conclusions:

Either the mouse is broken, or the PS/2 port is.

In both cases the only and fastest fix is to buy an usb mouse.
