Alternative to my laptops Mini PCI-E Card

my laptop is a dell e5420 and it currently comes with a intel centrino advanced-n 6205, all of a sudden it would disconnect and reconnect the connection. Its done this before but after a nice clean wipe of seven and it would continue to work like normal. But just recently it started resetting my connection and after wiping it still seems to do it. Ive tried reseating the card. But my main question is. Im guessing i can just pop in any mini pcie Card and it will work. So is there any cheap cards that are more up to date anyone can recommend or should i just buy another of the same model? I have two slots can anyone reccomend a good bluetooth card or a good use for the second slot? The bluetooth in this laptop is terrible so a replacement would be nice, Or im also open to suggestions on other cards to use. So far im considering the intel 7260.HMWWB.R which is bluetooth 4 and wireless ac

That replacement msata wireless card seems perfect. Intel are usually very reliable for their laptop wireless cards (bar your not too amazing experience) and it has all current generation standards. Though you would need an AC router to take full advantage.

As for the other slot I would stick one of these in it, if you don't already have an SSD. I believe that to be the best performing msata non NVME SSDs on the market, or at least one of the best.
