    Memory timings

    Hey guys,

I currently have [ame=http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002845LDC/ref=ox_ya_oh_product]this memory[/ame] and have been running it for 2 months already. Now i have the timings in my bios set to auto. How can i set it to the specific timing for the memory?
There are so many settings at memory like Tras Cas and stuff..

    Thanks!

It should be in the correct order in the BIOS. Just have them written down and double check. the 5-5-5-18 should be in order.

I like to set my timings manually just so when I overclock...the RAM stays at the correct timings. (unless I'm overclocking the RAM)

Your board may or may not let you change these settings. I have seen OEM boards that really don't leave much room for adjustment. This is the reason I got my EP45-UD3P. I love that board. mmmmmmmmm

You can usually go into bios to the memory timings section. There may be Optimal timings which you can usually change to Expert, after that you should be able to set the timings up manually.

Usually you only need to be concerend with the first set of numbers.... 5 5 5 15 2T "yours will be different" are typically the ones that need adjusting.

I don't have your bios here in front of me so it's hard to say exactly where these settings are.
