    rodnet2009,
Welcome to SF. Sounds like you are just installing a wireless mouse. Plug the dongle into an available usb port and wait like 10 seconds for the system to see it and load it's drivers. The mouse should start working right away. If not please give us the make and model of the mouse. Please make sure the mouse is turned on and has new batteries properly installed.

Could you please fill in your specs completely?

rodney, the logitech dongle will automatically be seen by the OS and will load the needed drivers to make it work. Truly plug and play, I'm not sure what the Maxell unit is asking you to do, tried going to thier website and the info was week and support even weaker. In my experience you could be pushing a bad position here and all I'm suggesting is go with a proven leader in the input device field. I've tried all sorts of other makes and model over the years and I've learned the hard way just as you could be now. Sure you can find a find a BT driver and hopefully get the Maxell to be seen but I would if possible return it and get credit for the Logitech and ..........hell just the free wheeling scroll feature alone is worth the upgrade much less everything else. You have questions please consider me your Belkin and Logitech helper! Maxell was all I used for audio recording tape and if I have to explain what that is to you ....you'll hurt my feelings !! lol
