Wireless LAN adapter not working after system restore.
I recently restored my PC, well, actually just reformatted the hard drive, and loaded windows back onto it. I only had the disk with the driver software for my motherboard, And not for my graphics card and WLAN card. I knew my WLAN card wasn't working because the driver softare was lost in the reformatting so I brought my computer downstairs and plugged it into the ethernet. I downloaded the drivers for my graphics card and it worked fine, then I moved on to getting the drivers for my WLAN card. I wasn't sure what driver to download so I opened up my computer and took the WLAN card out, I found the model but there were no drivers for that model, so I tried a few different ones and they all said that my WLAN card is disabled, when I researched how to enable it on google I found nothing. I went to the device manager and under networking devices I only found the gigabit ethernet adapter, but under other catagory, I found "network controller" and it had a yellow ! sign, I thought that that could be my WLAN card, and apparently windows couldn't find the driver for the "network controller" that i saw on the device manager. So in conclusion to this super long forum thread, I have no idea how to fix my WLAN card, and need any help I can get. I entered my computer info when I registered on the forums, so I'm not going to put it here, if anyone needs it though, I'd be happy to give it to you.
