    Cannot use microSDXC 64GB

    Currently I'm using Windows 7 64Bit ultimate.

Yesterday I brought Sandisk microSDXC 64GB.

I try to use this microSD with my PC.
But my PC cannot access to this microSD card.
So I try to format this microSD card again.
But I can't format it, Because Windows can't specify capacity of this card.

    How I format it?

    Thank you

    Addition Information
I'm using Sandisk ImageMate All-in-One USB3.0, tjat already supprt microSDXC I

It is possible that you have an older card reader that's can't access or read the high capacity cards. You should be able to format it in the device you bought it for.

Some older card readers are not able to read high capacity memory cards such as the SD or micro SD. A newer, high capacity, card reader is needed in those cases.

    This is something to consider.

You need an SDXC host device, which will accept all previous families of SD memory cards. There are not a great many of these card readers but they are out there. All SD cards greater than 32GB will be SDXC.

    Like the guys advised you
    - if you have a camcorder or camera ONLY format the card with the item it is to be mainly used with cos it can cause corruption of videos and photos otherwise!

Actually I will use this card for Android Tablet with exFAT file system.
But my Tablet can't format microSD card too (feature was lock)

If the feature was disabled, is it possible the MicroSD card is locked? Check for a switch to protect it.

    Thank you for reply.
I already checked, it doesn't lock.

SD formatter tool formats when Windows 7 can't.

Windows 7 could not format my San Disk Ultra 64GB Micro SDXC, but the San Disk SD Formatter Tool successfully did a good format. I found it here: Using SD Formatter Tool to restore full capacity on SDHC/SDXC cards
