    new chassis fan


    ......my ''92x38mm Vantec Tornado'' has just arrived from the states, its time to fit this UBER LOUD beast to my CPU H/S



    110CFM @ 55db ....lets see how loud it actually is....lol

    ok...... my fan controller wont throttle it....

    i think this thing draws about 30w & the controller cant even get the blades spinning, so ive gotta buy a single channel Rheostat controller for it.

    its loud but its not like a lawnmower as its been referred to.....lol

    I'm not a fan of loud fans. I certainly like to keep my machines as quiet as I can. I mean if you have to have a massive overclock, then why not do something like water cooling instead which will keep your noise levels down. There's nothing worse than the monotonous whir of a PC running after using quiet PC's.

    I depends on the setup and case too. I have a Lian Li PC-B70 full tower with foam lining the inside. I could put that fan inside that case and you would have a hard time hearing it.

    That foam is good stuff. I got some extra to line the places that were bare. It works pretty good.
