webcam??
not sure if this is the right plave so here goes.
I just reinstalled my OS and noticed my built in webcam dose not show up anywhere for me to turn it on. what do I need to do drivers??

Hello Vett and welcome.
Click Start | Search for 'devmgmt.msc' | Expand all the dropdowns
| Look for
If there's a triangle, you might be missing the driver. Have you updated everything in Windows Update? The driver might be there, as it usually does.

no triangle there. I think all updates are in. and it say's the divice is working properly??

nothing in update. there is no cd that came with the webcam the webcam is intergrated.

You should go to the Dell website, fill in your model number etc., and then it should be there as far as I'm concerned.

went to the dell down load site using my service tag and can't find drivers for the webcam

I've never heard of the webcam for a laptop not working. Did you reinstall using the recovery cd or recovery partition that it came with?
