    Administrative Event ID 11 Shows After Plugging In USB Flash Drive

    Event ID 11 (Warning) = Disk Controller
    Device = SanDisk Cruzer, 8GB, Formatted FAT32
    All USB Ports affected.

    The device works perfectly.

    Any ideas on how to eliminate the warning ?

    Try formatting it into NTFS. See this link....

    Formatting flash drives NTFS and FAT32

    My use of the Cruzer indicates FAT32 to be the best formatting choice.
    Still, I would like to get rid of the administrative warning every time it's plugged
    in.
    Thanks for the response.
