    Hi And welcome to the Forum.
    Why does your brother say
    "it lost the drive letter or may be some files broken"
    Does it not get recognised on his PC?

    Hello shivaadepu, welcome to Seven Forums!

    Have a look at this to open a command window to see if diskpart lists the HDD and be sure to post back with any further questions you may have and to keep us informed.

    Well to me it seems that he dard drive is not connecting to the PC so perhaps it is the USB lead/cable that is faulty. You don't say what make and model the HD is nor whether it has a separate power supply. If the USB cable is detachable then a spare cable can be obtained but if it is fixed then I'm a bit lost. In the UK I would guess it would be a job for a specialist in data recovery!

    thanks to reply for me......
    and u said usb or cable may be problem for this right, but here it can't be because my systems all ports usb's are working and the cable of HDD is also works because HDD has a led light right when the power came into the HDD than it blinks so here it shows the light is on but we can't detect HDD on any system.we think it's a driver's problem for HDD because we try to install new drivers for that HDD.it has 3 drivers 2 are successfully installed but one driver is not installed....please tell solution for this

    As we are still awaiting details of what HDD drive you have that is a little difficult. The led will come on when you connect to the power but is there a separate light for the USB connection? I'm confused when you say the HD has 3 drivers? Are you sure this is correct? Windows 7 is very good at sorting drivers so I am surprised that it has failed on this HD! Some more details of the HD and what drivers you have installed and where they came from would be useful!

    I have done a little research and still think this cold be a USB cable problem. Please answer the questions; IS THE USB CABLE REMOVABLE OR FIXED TO THE HD? Please give the details asked for in the previous posts. Without more info we are unable to help you.

    @shivaadepu
    It may not relate to you but if you have 2 WD externals of the same type connected at once you are likely to find one will go offline. This is because they come out of the factory with the same disk signature. You need to go into Disk Management and over on the left right click the offline HDD and set it online. This will change the disk signature and you get no clash.
    I've needed to do this a few times with WD externals.
