    Error 0x8007045d on my HP 2gig Flash disk


    I got this error Error 0x8007045d when I try to delete files on my HP 2gig Flash disk

    I tried running format disk and it says "error formatting the disk"

    I did all the necessary troubleshoots and by the way Im a die hard tweeker on pc's etc.

    BUT ALL TRIES FAILED! please resolve this fckin Error 0x8007045d

    welcome to the forum.
    this may help Error code 0x8007045d for hp usb flash drive v155w - Flash-Media - Storage

    it has a link at the bottom and takes you to a Taiwanese site, but if you click on the last tab on the right and downlaod the top one thats the one they suggest, the only difference there is that yours is a 2gb version.. unsure if it will make a difference.

    Thanks for the immediate reply mate.. still cant resolve the problem.

    Ive been doing all the tweeks 2days now and still cant fix the damn error

    Is the flash disk ready to dispose or what?

    Error 0x8007045D: the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error << that is the error I got on my 2gig HP Flash Disk

    ***EDIT***

    btw my hp flash disk is "c485l"

    before you send it to its grave try a flash drive tester like USB Flash Drive Tester 1.14 | Virtual Console | Downloads | ZDNet UK

    with flash memory being so inexpensive at the moment i wouldnt feel to guilty at lobbing it in the bin
