You are not going to get a quality PSU for that price. You need to be looking at a minimum price of £1 per 10W, so for a 550W model you need to look at £55 (or more). I realise that you are on a tight budget (most of us are), but skimping on something as vital as a quality PSU can have dire consequences, especially if it brings your motherboard down should it fail.

The problem with Amazon is that many times you are not actually buying FROM Amazon.

Instead, you are buying from some other dealer THROUGH the Amazon web site.

I looked through all the PSUs at Amazon and find none under 50 pounds that I'd buy.

I DID find a couple of good ones elsewhere under 50 pounds and I mentioned them in your other thread.

XFX 450W Core Edition Pro PSU | Ebuyer.com
XFX Core Edition, 450 watt; 37.29

Antec 400W High Current Gamer PSU | Ebuyer.com
Antec High Current Gamer 400 watts; 45.15; this is 40.00 at Overclockers.co.uk

Both of those are made by Seasonic, a premier manufacturer.

    I would get the XFX.

Many of the brands you are looking at are NOT manufacturers. They have someone else build the thing and put their name on it.

If you are on a budget, cut back somewhere else other than the PSU.

You do NOT need a 500 plus watt PSU.

I posted the links in your other thread.

Are you paying attention to it???????

If you want advice you need to do 3 things:

1: name your absolute top amount for budget.

2: name the parts you need to buy from that budget. That may be 3 parts or it may be 10. I have no idea what you already have.

Which of these do you need?

    case

    motherboard

    CPU

    monitor

    hard drives

    DVD drive

    RAM

    keyboard

    mouse

    modem

    operating system

    power supply

CPU cooler if not using the stock cooler

other items such as case fans

    thermal paste

    video card

    sound card

3: name your possible UK sources: Ebuyer, Overclockers, Amazon, whoever
