Confused about RAM dims

    thanks for all the help guys,Thankfully the cooler and ram ended up fitting like a glove I don't need the extra 8g ram but Iv'e got ocd and the empty slots are driving me mad(ram/no ram/ram/no ram)Water cooling also scares me a little,and I'm a trained plumber.If i was to go done the wc route I think i would probably design my own res and pump combo,I like the idea ov the fixed loop the only problem is the position ov the tube inlet/outlet on on the rad and block are positioned wrong for my liking well not mine my ocd's.he can be funny little sod at times...lol

    My CPU air cooler and memory barely fit together, maybe 1mm clearance. But they fit. Luck of the draw. Good show.

    I think you're absolutely right. We need a good, trained plumber for water cooling. Especially since I want the reservoir and heat exchanger outside the case.

one of my colleagues has a problem on her machine completely the same O/S where after a time her monitor dims. The display comes back to normal only on a key press event not a mouse move or anything i have trawled through the power settings and intel graphics settings and been on many web sites...
