    Mouse and Keyboard Freezes

Hi everyone, i've been experiencing some issues with mouse and keyboard lately. Both of them randomly freezes for a couple of seconds and then just come back normal. Anyway, i tried to ignore this for a couple of days but now when they freeze, they won't come back and i have to reboot the computer manually.

I've tried starting windows through safe mode. It still freezed but for a second this time. I'd be so glad if you guys could show me to fix this problem.
Thanks in advance. By the way im using a ps/2 mouse and keyboard.

Edit: When in safe mode, everything's fine.

You might try performing a clean start to see if something is conflicting.

    Hi,

As very well suggested by “A Guy”, the issue should have been fixed by now. If the issue still occurs after clean reboot also, then try running the Microsoft Fix It by clicking on the URL mentioned: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/help/mouse-touchpad-and-keyboard-problems-in-windows

You can even try following the below mentioned steps which could fix this issue:

The mouse freeze problem is most likely to be related to USB SUSPEND MODE.
    · Go to <Control Panel> select <Power Options>
    · Depending on which power plan you're in, either 'Balance' or 'Power Saver', select the <Change plan settings> accordingly
    · Select <Change advanced power settings> and expand <+USB settings> by clicking on the <+> sign
    · Expand further the <+USB selective suspend setting> by clicking on the <+> sign
    · Set both <On battery> & <Plugged in> to 'Disabled' and click 'Apply'.

Kindly revert and let us know if that fixes your issue.
