Touchpad reactivates after UAC prompts
Hey everyone!
I read an article a couple months ago about UAC's usefulness (combined with some 2+2 logic about making sure admin rights aren't so easy to get for malware) so I decided I'd reactivate it. I don't mind the prompts, and so far they've all been expected which is good :P
However, there is one problem... I have a Sentelic "Finger Sensing Pad" on my Asus G74SX. Normally I have it set to disable the touchpad whenever a USB mouse is plugged in, which is always because I absolutely despise touchpads. There's no way that I know of to completely disable it, unfortunately.
Anyway, whenever I accept/decline a UAC prompt, my touchpad reactivates itself regardless of if my mouse is plugged in, so I'm forced to unplug my mouse and plug it back in, in order for it to detect that it should be shut off.
Is there any way for me to make it so this doesn't happen? It isn't horribly inconvenient, but I'd really like to not have the problem anymore.
Thanks!
