    USB Not Recognized

1G flash drive cannot be accessed as you might encounter if it were write protected -- tested all three USB ports with other flash drives with issue -- of course only the one that I most need -- read historical posts but not successful -- may try it on another computer that has better security in case it might be a virus issue -- did try the diskpart test and it does recognize it but with 0 storage on it -- any help would be appreciated -- thanks in advance for your kindness

should have said that there were no issues with the other flash drives in any of the other ports -- tried plugging into a different computer and it acknowledges there is an e: drive but that is it not accessible -- now wondering if it is a question of write protected or if all of the files were erased -- any suggestions on best UNDELETE software currently being used -- have not had this kind of problem in several years and not sure whether I still have that the program on that computer -- thanks for your help
