Will the Vista GUI work? For my DeathAdder, it claimed to not have 7 compatible software, but the default configuration utility works just fine out of the box, including the mouse button 4/5 support and LED options.

Not sure if the Habu software would work the same way.

Thanks for the suggestion, I already tried that. It installs but when I run the GUI, it says no USB mouse detected. Of course the mouse is still working with generic drivers I'm assuming, but I am not getting the full functionality out of it yet.

    Logitech Performance Mouse MX

Not as good as the MX 1000 it replaced (RIP), but better than anything else I've seen lately.

If gaming is important - wired mice were always preferred to eliminate any trace of lag from wireless - not sure of current status of this
Actually the Logitech brand usually have little or no lag time.
