    HP Laserjet 2200d - x64 problem

    Hey guys,

Every 64bit build of Windows 7 I've tried I haven't been able to fix one problem and its VERY annoying. I can't print. I installed 32bit RC and 7201 yesterday and both of them found the printer and installed the driver but when I try to do that on 64bit, it finds the printer but can't find the driver. I've tried manually finding a 64bit driver online but Windows 7 64bit won't take it. Help?

Dmac Is your printer on a network or not, I had the same problem with my HP C5140 AIO printer it is on my network, so I installed the driver from win7 and it is working fine, but I have to give in the IP of the printer in order to scan from it, but it works fine.

It's on my network. The printer is connected by USB to my router (DIR-655) printer sharing. Every other computer in the house all running 32 bit can print and installs the driver but every 64 bit build I've tried even vista doesn't seem to install or do anything. Any ideas to get this working? There are 64 bit drivers for this printer so it must work somehow. Thanks

I have the same problem. Win7 64bit - can't install drivers for HP LJ 2200d (lan). Drivers from HP for Vista 64 doesn't work.
I've found that when i connect printer directly by USB it work without any problems (he finds drivers himself). But by Windows network - doesnt work. Can anyone help?
