Do you know what make of motherboard this is? The chipset is Intel H67, but if we had the make it might help.

How do I find the make? If I use "system information for windows" it can tell me my PC specs but I don't know what to look for

Can you tell us the manufacturer and model number of the card? Also, search the driver disk and see if there is a windows 7 X64 driver on the disk.

The card is Western Digital WD USB 3.0 PCIe
    Item model number: WDBFNJ0000NNC-WASN
    ASIN: B004GF1PC2

This info is from amazon, where I got the card from.

When you mean driver disk, if you are referring to the CD it came with, it only came with one application program for x86

I'm trying to find a driver for you. If the card came with a Western Digital My Book. Try this link to see if this is the correct driver.

I believe the link above is the correct driver. It comes with a my book external drive, but this is supposed to be the driver for the pcie 3.0 card that comes with it, which is the card you bought.

See if this is the card you bought and read the 4th review down (I think it is the 4th) by Lionel.
