I'm saying my CURRENT HDD is hooked through sata 3 i believe. would it work to connect it to sata 2?
then I use the 1 SATA 3 port for my SSD?
YES it will be just fine.
and would I need a 3.5inch bay for my ssd?
Not if you dont want too buy one, depends on the case, as I said I placed mine in the floppy area and screwed down with 1 screw.
Link to a sata 3 cable? there is so many..
    Above there are 2,
my case seems like it would fall through.
I found this Newegg.com - BYTECC Bracket-35225 2.5 Inch HDD/SSD Mounting Kit For 3.5" Drive Bay or Enclosure
It's 5 bucks I'll just pick it up. But now I need a sata 3 cable..

Newegg.com - SAMSUNG 830 Series MZ-7PC128D/AM 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) Desktop Upgrade Kit
It comes with everything I need, Including cables and the bracket. And also norton ghost but I don't think I'm going to use it.
And this way it was actually cheaper. The shipping was free with this one.
