    Having some wierd things happen on my rig....

    Hi all!
    As title says i am having some weird things happen on my rig!
    1) Cpu sitting at 49% usage constantly.
    2) Browser wont save Any alterations (software but yea)
    3) my SSD seems to be acting up too! goes like the clappers when it wants to but otherwise barely faster than a HDD (so it seems to me) ATTO score still at 523.

    Comp is virus and malware free, so im wondering if its a dodgy piece of software.. recently installed: palemoon x64 (removed), Malwarebytes, Steam (start on demand, not start up), and VMware workstation and World of Warcraft (don't judge me! never played before!!) anyway before i Installed that list of stuff it started acting up... I'm out of idea's. so any thoughts? i'm starting to think its a Hardware issue, damn this new tech!

    Cheers peeps!

    Makes me think of driver issues from a bad install. Does Device Manager indicate any problem devices (yellow triangles) when run with Admin permissions and Hidden devices visible?

    I would;

    • Run chkdsk to scan for corrupted windows files.
    • Run through the installed program section and uninstall old unused programs.
    • Try CCleaner and scan for registry errors.
