Laptop hangs constantly and requires manual shutdown.

I own an Samsung 7 series running Windows 7 64-bit.
Since using it, it has consistently given me trouble. I reinstalled the system once, but it is still giving me problems a few months later. It will hang or freeze every 5-10 minutes. Please help me fix this.

    Thanks!

    Good.

    1. Is the laptop under its warranty?
    2. What antivirus program are you using?

    Next on list, Disk Check:

    1) Yes I bought in March, 1 yr warranty from Samsung.
    2) I downloaded AVG recently. Machine usually freezes while running through it. Can't do to many things for too long without issues.

I'll run disk check now, and get back with you. Thanks!

    What were you using earlier?
And OK, I'll be waiting for the results :)

Unless something came pre-installed, probably nothing before.

I ran the scan with fix errors, and it did find somethings. But I couldn't tell you everything exactly. I ran at boot and couldn't copy it all down. One thing said replacing missing or invalid security descriptor. File 25976.

I will run the scan only piece again.

Yes. On a related note, when I run AVG scan. It gets bogged down on a file system.windows.forms.ni.dll. I noticed this before so I wanted to mention in care it helps.
