    Stuck at "AHCI Drive Init..."


    Hello bro, longtime no see..

    I want to ask my problem. My computer wouldn't boot. And then, it stuck at ahci drive init

    I don't know why. I've tried search on google, but i didn't get the solution. Please help me :)

    This is my computer Specs:
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
    CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Procsessor
    MoBo: MSI 790FX-GD70
    Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series
    RAM: 4GB

    The age of the hardware varies a lot, the video card is around 2.5 years old, the processor is around 5 months old and the mobo is around 2 years old

    It would appear that the BIOS routine is hanging at the point where it in the process of detecting the HDDs/SSDs on your computer. Try disconnecting them to see what happens. If the BIOS then completes its routine (ignore the message about missing OS), reconnect one drive at a time until it hangs again. Verify that this is the drive causing the problem by disconnecting it again.
