Phantom System Folder in Start - Computer

I used to connect a Nokia 6700s phone to my Sony Vaio using a USB cable, but I no longer use that phone. However, even though the phone is not connected I see it in Start - Computer under Other (1):

    MyName Nokia 6700s
    System Folder

If I double-click this entry nothing happens, but if I right-click it then I get the following:

    Windows Explorer has stopped working
Windows is checking for a solution to the problem....
    Windows Explorer is restarting .....

I would love to be able to delete this entry!

I have looked in Device Manager but it is not there. There is also no drive letter assigned to it.

In the registry I do see the name under an entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID

    I also see it in HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-..........\Software\Nokia\Nokia Suite\Devices\3537.........

Maybe I can get rid of it by deleting these two entries ..... but I would appreciate any advice regarding whether this is a good idea and what else I could try.

Further to my previous posting, I have tried some things but without resolving the problem.

In Device Manager View menu you can 'Show hidden devices' if you enable that option by setting an environment variable or editing a registry entry. Having done this I found numerous entries for the Nokia Slide 6700s in various sections. I deleted them all!

Disappointingly, however, after a reboot the problem remained.

In Nokia (OVI) Suite I also found that it had remembered my Nokia 6700. So I removed it, again to no avail!

I haven't yet removed the registry entries I mentioned because I am waiting a bit longer to see if anyone advises me against it ......
