Windows 7: Unknown Issue (4 months long) Freezes

What I am describing by my previous post is "AC Ground Quality" issues. You can buy a simple AC ground tester at any
hardware store. But these cheap testers will only show you a totally open ground. Your described computer is a Intel six core 3.2ghz system. They are sensitive to all this grounding working right. Your coffee pot does not care, and many times old and slow computers do not care. Many users miss these simple new AC items.
In my experience, power strips should be replaced every 1-3 years. UPS battery backups once they reach 3 years use.

Good point bd. I've experience that before with the Q2E line of cpus coupled with a near expiry ups. Ever since I have been extra careful with those socket issues. Every time I build a new rig around once a year, I replace all outlet to ups / psu connections. Surge protectors too. This time around it was my mistake though. I figured it was an eatx board so I placed the standoffs for one only to realize 4 months later the RIVE only required 9. That probably grounded points that wasn't supposed to be Be interrupted and when more power is drawn it simply crashes. It was a silly mistake but one tye came with a great lesson and made me discover SF. Thankfully though the board has excellent surge protection. I've went through the logs and there was a few protection enabled lines. It's now wonderfully stable at 4.5 ghz @1.65v running highest at 59 on load. Been having some good game time too. Last session was about 9 hours on sleeping dogs. Though the freeze paranoia is kinda annoying. Every time the loading screen appears I twitch lol.

New build in 3 months (long-ish post)
So I'm planning to replace this aging machine since it's been nearly 4 years of using it. I was amazed that the 250W power supply managed to power the GT 610 (the recommended is 300W) for 2 years with no problems. Now, technically this is not a build that I would do but instead, I'll mod a...

Intermittent freezes and occasional BSOD's over last 6 months
Here's what I've done over those 6 months: Updated all drivers, tested for overheating, re-installed windows 7 Pro over the top of prior install. Cleared out all ATI drivers and reinstalled. Tried everything I could think of. I am not sure how best to use the Dump files to solve the problem, but...

So I had a very weird issue a few months back, what do you guys think?
Loooooong post, going to try and sum everything up to the best I can remember :) A few months back I powered down my rig for a short time to test an adapter I had on one of my GPUs. It wasn't the adapter I thought it was, so I put it away and powered back on. Upon POST'ing, I was then greeted...
