OK. Built-in Windows driver is provided by Marvell Yukon, Belkin USB adapter uses Marvell's chipset. For reasons unknown to me the fact is Belkin's own drivers don't work with 7, you need the driver this image in my earlier post shows.

What build of 7 you have? The right driver is included in all builds since 7100. Did you already try this?

7500 i think and i just done what you post said by uninstalling everything disconnecting the USB restarting and connect again, i done that it picked up the device and said "installing driver" then it said driver install unsuccessful and had an red cross next to it.

Is there anyway of getting this driver online i need? so i can transfer it to my computer and install it like that.

I've tried to google Marvell Drivers, no luck.

I'll check something, back in hour or so.

The attached zip contains the driver, let's hope it works. Once again, disconnect the USB adapter, uninstall all remains of Belkin in both Device Manager and Control Panel > Programs and Features. Unzip the driver to C:\Windows\system32\Drivers\. Reboot, reconnect the adapter. Come back to tell how it went.

Done what you said, after reboot i reconnected the adapter and it done the connected sound then the 3 quick deep beep sound don't know what that means, and then popped up and said driver unsuccessfully installed.

Everytime i troubleshoot or plug it in i get those 3 beeps and right after the beeps it says no driver found. It will start to install the driver then the 3 beeps and then it says it can't find a driver.

OK I have read through the whole of this thread and no where have I seen the model number from the actual device?

Could the OP please confirm the actual model number of the device.

Also due to Belkin manufacturing policy (they use more than one firmware/hardware supplier without changing the model number ) can you also provide the FCC ID from the unit (This does change on each hardware change)

All my searched lead to this page with belkin ...

Belkin : Support : Wireless High Speed Mode USB Adapter : F5D7051

The only drivers I can find are stated for 32 bit Vista here ....

    Belkin : Support : F5D7051 Driver

However looking at the actual download file this does include the x64 bit tag

Hopefully this will do the trick

With Belkin products in the past I have found that the download will create a folder on the c: drive in the form of C:\belkin\drivers ....

To install remove the adaptor and any existing drivers (in Device manager and make sure you select the remove files option) ..
Re insert the adaptor and choose to manually install the drivers - point the selection box to the C:\belkin folder and let the install complete

It is normally best to then restart the pc

Hopefully this will also work in your case
