    Start Button does not open

Neither clicking on the button or clicking on the Windows Logo key brings up the Start Menu.

This problem comes up very occasionally on all my clients' computers. I cannot find a pattern, but the fix to log off and log back on again using Ctrl-Alt-Del always seems to work.

When this problem occurs, there is no other problem running any programs, or doing anything else on the computer; they (or I) just log of and log on again and then the start button works again.
