    File Transfer


    Hi

    Have just purchased a higher spec laptop both laptops running Windows 7 Home, which in users experience is the best method for transferring data from old (32)to the new (64), External hard drive, Easy transfer cable etc?

    Also I have Microsoft office 2007 will this be able to be transffered as I have no original disc (damaged)

    I personally use an external hard drive to copy my data file, etc., as well as to provide backups.

    You must reinstall your Office 2007. It can not be transfered.

    As for the MS Office, you can download installers from Digital River Links. Here's a good place to get the links:

    Thanks for the replies have down loaded Belarc Adviser and obtained the codes for Office 2007 and I favour the external hard drive, will let you know how I get on.
