question about hard drives
I was thinking about buying another hard drive (a 1tb) to keep big files on, and other things that take up alot of space and basically all the games and programs, and then use my current hard drive (250 gb) to have the windows files on.
Im thinking about making a partition on the current hdd to multi boot with xp and windows 7 soon. Is windows 7 going to give me any permission problems if i try to access the files on the hard drive im going to add? thanks. |

I only have 37gb of memory left, which is a lot - but I want a fail safe. I am going to use this opportunity as an excuse to pick up two 1TB WD Caviar Blacks. As of right now I don't have... |

A question about Virtual Hard Drives???? Hi, I plan to create a VHD or virtual hard drive inside my alternate disk partition (D:). Let's say, I make a 15GB VHD, can I really boot an operating system from it??? Or is it possible to keep a system image backup in it that I can then make a recovery from in case my system fails???? |

Question about multiple Hard drives I'm gonna be moving from a 32-bit XP OS to the Windows 7 64-bit version. Before installing the OS, I'm gonna unplug my 2nd Hard drive where there's no OS installed, just storage. Will I have to do anything special on the 2nd HD when I replug it in Windows 7? No reformatting is needed right?... |
