    question about hard drives

I was thinking about buying another hard drive (a 1tb) to keep big files on, and other things that take up alot of space and basically all the games and programs, and then use my current hard drive (250 gb) to have the windows files on.

Im thinking about making a partition on the current hdd to multi boot with xp and windows 7 soon.

Is windows 7 going to give me any permission problems if i try to access the files on the hard drive im going to add? thanks.

If the new HD is internal, probably not. If it is external, or a networked drive, there may be some issues, but they can be solved.
