New computer wont even go into the BIOS

I just got an Intel DZ68BC desktop board with 8GB of DDR3 RAM; I have a 1TB hard drive. I have all the front panel headers on correctly. I have a 400 watt power supply.

The computer turns on, but that’s it. The fans run, the LEDs come on, but the computer doesn’t even go into POST or the BIOS.

I tried the power supply from another computer with the same amount of Watts and go the same effect, I also took the new power supply and put it in another computer and it worked just fine.

I'm thinking it could be the motherboard, but I hope I am wrong.

If all your power hookups check out......Check the CPU....You didn't mention the CPU type...Is it compatible with the motherboard....AND is it installed correctly? Is it installed at all
You can go to Intel website to see which CPU's will work with this board..........

Is the monitor plugged in and switched on? If you have a graphics card installed, have you connected the monitor to the card's connector and not the motherboard's?

Disconnect all peripherals and remove all but the first stick of RAM. If using a CPU with in-built graphics, remove the graphics card and plug the monitor into the motherboard graphics connector.

I believe your board has a debug LED. What error is it showing? And you should be able to look up the error code in the manual.

You may also want to read the customer feedback on Newegg.

It is not giving any error codes, it's just two zeros.

I still have the warranty and I talked to Intel, they said it's the motherboard as I thought.

    Thanks all for the input.
