BSOD flashes on bootup after installing xbox360 controller driver.

Ok, i am kind of reaching the end of my capabilities here and i hope someone can help.
The problem: Boot problems since restart after install of a xbox360 controller driver.
While booting a BSOD occured but the laptop restarted before i could see what was on it.
Pressed F8 on startup and disabled automatic restart on system failure.
    BSOD: UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

After this i pressed F9 and selected 'Windows Setup [EMS Enabled]'
The screen then keeps stuck at X:\windows\system32\cmd.exe which stays empty.

I then decided to get a windows disc to do a fresh install, pressed F2 to open bios.
Moved dvd drive up in boot order, save and exit, and i restarted.

Problem is, it does not give me the option to boot from disc and instead goes straight to the X:\windows\system32\cmd.exe screen where nothing happens again.

I hope someone can help me with this, if not i thank you anyways to take the time to read through my issue.

    What is drive X: ?
What drive is connected to port 0 of your primary disk controller?
Do you have any drives larger than 2TB and/or using UEFI boot?
Go back into the BIOS and verify that the optical drive is specified first in boot order.

    i think X:\ is a recovery partition.
I dont have a drive larger than 2TB.
also, i'll get back to you on the things that require me to open BIOS because i am trying Windows Defender Offline right now.

It's almost 1:00AM here so perhaps someone else will take over.
