    Mouse locks up ! ! !


    am using old logitech mouse with 3 buttons. it just locks up & after clicking the middle mouse button everything comes back to normal state. bt this happens lotta times even when am working. any solution to this ??? Thanx

    what model of logitech mouse are you using? Did you download the driver and software for said mouse?

    You may want to go to the mouse settings in control panel and see what the center button press function is set to.

    logitech mouse >> Logitech First/Pilot Mouse Serial (M34,M35,C43) ... it locks up or auto scroll start if on browser/explorer ...

    Serial mouse? This isn't meant to be sarcastic but dude I think its time to buy a new mouse. Having said that, did it ever work correctly on that PC? Being that old it quit possible its broken and defective.

    it works superbly on my xp machine also ... bt with win 7, it just auto scrolls ...

    That mouse doesn't have an actual scroll wheel does it? Does it have three buttons? I Googled it but didn't see any actual pictures of it, just links to drivers. Your only option as I see it, is to change the setting in mouse properties for the center button, or use a different mouse.
