What about gpu and system temps ?

Let us know what event viewer is reporting as well, with some event codes they may lead somewhere
GPU Temp is around 41-43 deg
System Temp I'm not sure what this is? Mobo is 27deg. All 3 HDD's are at 29deg

    Event Viewer Codes:

Criticals are all Event ID 41
Errors Codes(this doesn't make for pretty reading) with the number of instances in the last 7 days:
    2 x 1
3 x 42 (this seems to relate to MSE, and a corrupted file)
    34 x 2
    5 x 2
    18 x 1
    55 x 1
    1001 x 7
    1060 x 1
    2001 x 1
    6008 x 28
    7000 x 2
    7001 x 38
    7009 x 2
    7026 x 2
    7030 x 3
    8193 x 1
    10005 x 15
    12305 x 1

    Thanks very much

I left the PC running whilst watching TV this evening and came back after about 2 hours to find that ASUS Suite was displaying a warning that my Mobo was at -60deg. That's below freezing! Presumably the sensor is playing up, but I do hope that's all this is and I'm not looking at a replacement mobo.

Having looked on around, it seems negative readings from this Asus board aren't unheard of. Just a quirk I guess, still it makes it difficult to know which monitor to believe.

Any joy with those Event Viewer codes anybody?

    Kind regards

    Please upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

    1. Click on the start button
    2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
    3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
    4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
    5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

It will give us a closer look to the system.

no worries, it's been behaving itself today...so far...
I'm working through the error codes myself to see what I can find out also.

Uninstall driver scanner. If it cause any further BSODs, even with ntoskrnl.exe, let us see those crash dumps.

Begin with some virus scanning. Scan the system for possible virus infection.

    Update your ATI/AMD display driver.
You can get it from the link in our forum, Latest AMD Catalyst Video Driver for Windows 7, or you may go to AMD Graphics Driver and Software and opt for Automatically Detect and Install the appropriate driver for your card.

During installation, you may opt for advanced installation, and install the display driver only, not the Catalyst Control Center.

    Update your network drivers.

Download the network card driver from manufactuer's website, linked above.
    Then reinstall the driver:

    1. Click the Start Button, type "devmgmt.msc" (without quotation marks) in the Start Menu Search box and press Enter.
    2. Double click to expand "Network adaptors".
    3. Right click your network card and click Uninstall.
    4. Check "Delete driver software for this device" check box, click OK.
    5. Restart the computer
    6. If windows does not auto configure the appropriate drivers at startup, install the downloaded one manually, following Driver Install - Device Manager.

    Let us know the results.

    DriverScanner uninstalled
No BSOD's for a while, although they were replaced with random restarts (of which I suffered none yesterday and none so far today)

    TDSSKiller - all clean
Windows Defender Offline - found a Obfuscator.X7 which it removed

    ATI/AMD driver updated

    Netgear driver updated
    Realtek driver updated

So far, no shutdowns/restarts. I'll leave it running all day/night and see how things go. Should anything occur I will update here.

I guess that just leaves the Error Codes in Event Viewer. I will continue to try to work through these on the chance that they are related/connected to my problems.

    Kind regards

    Apparently a good news.
Now observe it, and let us know how it is performing :)
