    That is because the laptop is throteling back.. This happens so the cpu protects itself- get the app on android and shut the pc down after you have logged in on your phone

    If you have not checked the temp with a different software, you should. It could be a faulty temp program. Try this one and let us know if it is high also. CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

    What do you have your laptop placed upon? A bed, lap or some other form of material or fabric which could blocking the air vents on the laptop?

    I would advise you raise the back of the laptop slightly to improve the air circulation, and also ensure the air vents on the case are getting sufficient circulation of cool air entering and hotter air leaving.
