How are the drives setup on the ide cable 1 as master and the other a slave? And if so which one is not showing up? It would also be nice if you would fill in your system specs in your user cp so we know what all the hardware your running is. thanks

Hi there. I did update my specs. Hopefully it is showing up now?

The MASTER is the one that is showing up. The Slave which is set to cable Select, is the one that isn't showing up.

Try setting the cable select to slave. And see if it makes a difference. Change the pin selection on the back of the drive and set it to slave then it has to be detected as a slave drive.

I thought thats what you were getting at. the C Drive DOES NOT show up. In fact, it shows D, E & G drives

The D drive is the main and the E drive is a partition off of the main drive. G is the external drive.

Even though windows is actually seeing it in the device manager? I just can't get it to show up in the Computer Management screen.

I think I agree with thefabe

Next set the drive as slave not cable select

Make sure to shut down with power off to do this !!!!
