To be honest this one is over my head. First off I would have only had the drive I was installing windows 7 to plugged in and an optical drive or flash drive, however you installed 7. I know in xp thier is a way to reasine drive letters but I'm unsure about how in 7. But their are plenty of people smarter than I hear to help you with this.

There's nothing on the E drive right now. It's only a 17 gig partition and it's empty.

Did you create the two partitions originally ?

Or did this show up after the install ?

I've had this partition for years now. It was one of my own doing.

Should I maybe try booting with just the one main hard drive? Maybe it will be forced back to C??
